Wines made from grapes produced in America have distinct characteristics and variety, and he believed that there was a need for a glass that pronounced these subtle points and complexities.
Then in joint cooperation with both wine and glass makers they attempted the creation of a Zinfandel glass.
However, the conclusion was that they felt the glass developed originally for Chiati Classico best brought out the qualities of Zinfandel.
