Japan is proud to boast its famous cutlery town, Gifu prefecture's Sekishi.
The Seki corkscrew came out of this town that contains a number of knife factories.
It was the idea of craftsmen to give the corkscrew the revolutionary function of a knife that can be opened with one finger.
