This is the signature model of the 1978 world sommeliers contest champion in Portugal Lisbon, Italian, Giuseppe Vaccarini.
He is currently chairman of the International Sommelier Association (made up of 38 countries）that host the worlds greatest sommelier contest.
The handle is made from lemon tree. The hook has the earth and the year of his victory (1978) engraved on to it. His name (Giuseppe Vaccarini) is engraved on the side.

It is tough enough to endure hard use, but be reassured by the fact that once it is broken in it has all the charming suppleness that makes Chateau Laguiole famous.
